High Thermal Conductivity & Electrical Insulation Across Various Applications

Boron Nitride’s high-temperature properties make it a preferred thin coating for multiple applications. Our portfolio of sprays and paints are used to coat metal handling systems because they limit metal adherence and extend the life of refractory linings. Boron Nitride suspensions provide enhanced wear resistance and improved adhesion to all substrates.

Boron Nitride Sprays & Paints

Boron Nitride Sprays and Paints are ideal surface protectors, release agents and slip additive up to high temperatures. Boron Nitride Sprays and Paints allow for new solutions or significant process simplification.

General Properties:  No wetting and no reaction with metals like Aluminum, Copper, Iron, precious metals, several salts and glasses, Excellent gliding behavior, Facilitates removing from molds, Prevents surface contamination, Very high electrical insulation, Non-toxic, Excellent chemical stability.

Applications: Coating in glass, steel and ceramic industries, High-temperature lubricant materials, Release agents for metalizing industry, Protective coating in forging, molding, heat treatment and ceramic production. Other applications include electrical insulators in sintering and hardening furnaces, Glass-processing release agents, Graphite protection in siliconizing, Al-ingot casting release agents, Hot-forming release agents and lubrication, and Casting table coating, Coating for launderers, runners, and troughs.

Boron Nitride Suspensions

Boron Nitride Suspension is a combination of Boron Nitride powder and water.  Various grades have been developed for wear and adhesion applications.

General Properties:  Coating layer with hexagonal structure of Boron Nitride particles results in excellent low friction rate and a high resistance against chemical attacks. A very low friction coefficient enables longer mold and tool life.

Applications: Coating in glass, steel and ceramic industries, High temperature lubricant materials, Release agent for metalizing industry, Protective coating in forging, molding, heat treatment and ceramic production, Electrical insulator in sintering and hardening surfaces.
