Kennametal Inc. today announced the final terms for its previously announced public offering of $300 million of Senior Unsecured Notes due 2012. The notes will bear interest at 7.20% and have an initial price to the public of 99.629% of the face amount.
This offering is consistent with the company's previously announced plans to fund the acquisition of the Widia Group, and reduce bank borrowings, as part of a comprehensive refinancing of its capital structure.
Kennametal is offering the notes. Goldman, Sachs & Co. and JP Morgan are lead managing the notes offering.
