JIMTOF 2024 – Tokyo, Japan
As one of the world’s largest international technology exhibitions, JIMTOF 2024 brought together global leaders in manufacturing and machining from November 5 to November 10, 2024, at the Tokyo International Exhibition Center.
Highlights:
- E-Mobility and Aerospace Solutions: Unveiling 3D-printed stator bore tools for E-Mobility/Electrical Vehicle (EV) manufacturing and advanced solutions for machining aerospace engines and structural components, including a demonstration from the C919 aircraft.
- New Product Innovations: Introducing advanced holemaking solutions, high-performance solid carbide end mills, and innovations like the KCP25 series for ISO turning inserts, the versatile GOmill™ PRO, and the revolutionary HARVI™ II TE end mills.
- Digital Media Collaboration: Partnering with YouTuber Nantoka Juko to highlight tooling applications in a cutting-edge video and offering interactive digital formats for exploring specific tool applications.

IMTS 2024 – Chicago, IL
With 89,000 registrations at IMTS 2024, Kennametal’s Metal Mania-themed booth brought a rock-star feel to attendees and demonstrated tooling solutions in medical, transportation, aerospace, and energy. New innovations like the HARVI™ II TE and TopSwiss™ turning inserts were on display.
Highlights:
- Booth Design and Engagement: The Metal Mania theme and interactive demonstrations from industry influencers received rave reviews. Giveaways included custom guitars and a DN Solutions SVM 4100 machine.
- Collaborations: Oak Ridge National Laboratory’s showcased its “Print it and rip it” capabilities with Kennametal products including Stellite powders for 3D printed parts and our Solid Carbide endmills for finishing.
- Digital Media Collaboration: Industry influencers including the Spindle Chick and Jacob Sanchez helped bring solutions to life.

AMB 2024 – Stuttgart, Germany
Kennametal made a strong presence at AMB 2024. The event drew more than 65,000 visitors from 78 countries. For the first time, Kennametal exhibited Medical solutions at a major trade show in EMEA, marking an important growth initiative milestone.

- Key Growth Initiatives: Tooling solutions and custom 3D components were featured alongside a model electric vehicle.
- Metal Mania Tie-in: Kennametal gave away Rock im de Park concert tickets to booth attendees.
