DAL Drills • CFRP-Ti-Stacks
Double Angle (DAL) KenDrill™ solid carbide drills are tailored for machining Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastics (CFRP) and Titanium Alloy (Ti) metal stacks. They are ideally designed for drilling holes through thin plates. The solid carbide drill’s double-angle point design ensures smooth, bur-free exits when penetrating the metal side of the stack. The HiPACS drills are also engineered for CFRP-Ti drilling and chamfering metal stacks. These drills ensure high-precision machining and are commonly used for rivet hole machining in aerospace applications. Both DAL KenDrill and HiPACS drills are designed for lightweight and high strength holemaking of composite materials.
