Cutters KSSM™ 12 • Inch
The KSSM 12 series of shell mills are engineered to machine titanium, steel, stainless steel, and high-temperature alloys in shoulder milling operations. With effective thermal management in reduced cutting temperatures, the KSSM 12 cutter through coolant capabilities improves lubricity at the cutter zone improving chip control and tool life. The KSSM 12 platform is ideal for face milling, shoulder milling, pocketing, profiling, ramping, and helical interpolations. Square inserts are available with four cutting edges and Precision Coolant Technology (PCT) where coolant moves through the inserts while machining. IC12 inserts are only for helical cutters.
