Cutters 5720 • Metric

The 5720metric seriesof shoulder mills the maximum stability needed for machining aluminum at high speeds. They are an excellent choice for working on components with thin walls due to the low cutting pressure. The 5720 cutters allow each body to hold inserts with different radii without losing any gauge height of the cutter length. The pockets of the cutters are reinforced to allow for heavy feeds, safe ramping, and provide more line contact when utilizing larger radius inserts for more stability. Additionally, the profile and pocketing cutters feature through-tool coolant allowing better chip evacuation. The 5720 metric series of cutters are available in shell mill, monoblock, and end mill configurations with cylindrical or screw on shanks.
