SIF Steerable Holders
SIF steerable holders represent a cutting-edge solution in machining technology, offering the ability to adjust the cutting direction during reaming. This feature lets operators fine-tune the tool’s position, ensuring accurate hole dimensions and surface finish. The SIF toolholders offer easy compensation on radial run out and angular inaccuracies, some feature 8 screws instead of 4 to support radial adjustment, and the holders are available with couplings for HSK and hydraulic chucks. Some SIF holders come with through-the-tool coolant capabilities. This feature enhances chip evacuation and helps maintain consistent cutting temperatures, resulting in improved tool life and productivity.
