Counterboring Tools

Counterboring tools and drilling inserts are designed for creating precise and accurate holes of any diameter. The STS toolholders are available in Whistle Notch™ and Weldon™ shanks and are great for steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous materials, high-temp alloys, and hardened materials. CTR™  counterboring tools are designed for high-production screw-head counterbores and similar counterboring operations. They have unequal insert positioning and flutes. Kennametal’s CTR double-sided drilling inserts are known for their high performance and durability.
