Machining Two Materials Simultaneously with Mill 4™-12KT Tangential Shoulder Mill

First, we'll do a circumferential cut with a three-millimeter depth of cut. We're starting on the side of the cast iron block then continuing all around the steel block and finishing on the cast iron block again.

Now it's going to get really wild. We're going to take a full slot with half of the cutter being engaged in steel and the other half in cast iron.

Finally, we're going to take a five-millimeter depth of cut full slot through the cast iron block first. Then, continue right through the steel block.
