Kennametal’s KDMT bull-nose end mill systems are perfect for corner radius roughing and finishing in die and mold copy milling applications. The bull-nose design enables productive, precise, and economical machining especially when it comes to flat-bottom surface and back-draft angle finishing. 

Cutting diameters range from .500" to 1.000" and can be used for machining multiple materials including steel, cast steel, and high-temperature alloys. The toroidal style insert geometries feature GC for high tolerance helical angles, the GN high precision insert, and the HF special insert geometry for machining at extremely high feed rates. KDMT tool holders are available in steel or solid carbide shanks with through coolant. The cutters with carbide shanks are well-suited for shrink-fit adaptors. They can be used with heat shrink technology, h6 shank tolerance.
